Nova Scotia is an excellent place to live, work, study, raise a family or retire. Real estate prices are well below the Canadian average, Halifax has a state-of-the-art hospital system, people are friendly, the highways are not clogged with traffic and it is impossible to be more than a 20-minute drive from the ocean. In addition to the ubiquitous ocean, Nova Scotia has farmland, forests, rivers, lakes, rolling hills and even skiing in the winter months. Other attractions are the Bay of Fundy (with its dramatic tides), Cape Breton Island (with its Scottish culture) and the nearby province of Prince Edward Island, not to mention New Brunswick, which has a vibrant ecclesia in Sussex with whom we have regular fellowship.
